This weekend we are dog-sitting so we have three pretty needy dogs on our hands. Never one to need an excuse to stay in, I happily have cozied myself in for the weekend. One of my favorite ways to relax while still feeling like I’m using some braincells is with a jigsaw puzzle.
While this isn’t creating in my typical sense, there is a sense of accomplishment I get from working on a puzzle.
I’ve loved keeping myself occupied, while also getting in the mood for Halloween. And any excuse to stay in with pajamas on, I will take!
Side note: I love The Shining. And this retro movie poster puzzle ticks a lot of boxes for me. The book was a fantastic and terrifying read, but the movie is brilliant, albeit quite different. I know Stephen King famously hates the movie, but I can’t pick sides.
