It’s been a busy week of planting at the Kimble household. I visited my raised beds to see peas and snap peas popping up. Last year rabbits ate every pea plant down to the ground, so I’m hoping this year they leave them alone.
Our landscaping project also was completed and helped to reset all of our gardens. It is such a huge help to get this start on the weeding and mulching.
Finally, I planted my porch planters and am hopeful the garden center didn’t lead me astray and these plants truly will appreciate the shade of my porch. What I learned was each planter needs “a thriller, a chiller, and a spiller.” Who knew?
